Christopher Rees will open for the mighty Steve Earle at Cambridge Corn Exchange on Sunday 5th September and St David's Hall, Cardiff on Tuesday 7th September 2010.
These dates will be solo performances from both Steve Earle and Christopher Rees.

Hardcore troubadour Steve Earle hits the UK this autumn in support of his new album Townes, a 15-song set comprised of songs written by Earle’s friend and mentor, the late singer-songwriter, Townes Van Zandt. (pictured with Steve Earle above)
The album which Earle himself produced, features such guests as Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, The Bluegrass Dukes, Steve's wife and acclaimed singer-songwriter Allison Moorer and Steve's son, Justin Townes Earle. It's been released to major worldwide critical acclaim and landed Earle the highest debut chart entry of his career. He also picked up, Winner of Best Contemporary Folk Album at the 2010 Grammys for his most recent album, “Townes.” This is Steve’s third Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Folk Album.
